Pre E3 2011 Press Conference - Kojima's Announcements.

Hey guys, Joeker here. I just finished watching the Pre E3 2011 Press Conference, and thought i would tell you guys about the stuff Kojima talked about. Unfortunately, Kojima himself won't be attending E3 this year, so some guy who's name i cannot remember went to Kojima Productions in Japan, to get word from the man himself, Hideo Kojima.

His first big announcement was the "Transfarring" system. Some PS3 Titles will have Transfarring capabilities, which will allow you to Transfer your Game Data from your PS3 to your PSP, so you can play those games on the go. I Believe Kojima himself said this was to help "Bridge the gap" between console and portable gaming. He later went to tell us, that that was only Step 1 of his Transferring plan. With 2 more steps to follow:

Step 2 of his "Transfarring" system will be to be able to transfer PS2 Titles to the PS3 and NGP. I Think this is what seals the deal of NGP with me. Originally, i wasn't all that keen to get one. But now i can play PS2 games on it? Yes Please. Step 3 is to be able to transfer games between NGP and PS3, allowing gameplay of the new HD Titles at home on your TV or on the go with your NGP.

He is also in development of a new gaming engine, created exclusively by Kojima Productions called the 'Fox Engine'. This will be used to bring games to Multiplatform. Meaning we'll be seeing more Kojima titles released on both the PS3 and Xbox 360! This is great news for me, as i currently only own an Xbox 360.

His next announcements were about the upcoming HD Collections that he will be releasing!

First is the Metal Gear Solid HD Collections, to be released on both PS3 and Xbox 360! These will include HD 'Remakes' of Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3, snake eater. The PS3 Version will be compatible with Transfarring, whilst the 360 version will not. But that's to be expected.

The next big announcement, was the second HD Collection, this is the one everyone seems really excited about.

That's right everybody, we're getting a Zone of the Enders HD Collections, also released on both PS3 and Xbox 360! Just like with the MGS HD Collection, The PS3 Version will have Transferring! A Lot of people seem to be looking forward to this. And with this, we may even get a Zone of the Enders 3.

That's about it for the Kojima stuff. Oh, That's right! There's Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater will have full Gyroscope controls, said by the Directed of the MGS games (Who's name i also can't remember, lol) Will be similar to making you "one" with snake. For Example, if your climbing a mountain, If you tilt the 3DS to much, Snake may be in danger of falling and such. Also is a new feature, that will allow you to take a photo with the 3DS Camera, then turn that Photo into a Camouflage costume for Snake. They used the example with a Pink flower, which game Snake a pink colored camouflage costume, that looked...Flowery, i guess. This is called "Photo Camo" or something along those lines. Also, shown in the trailer for MGS3D was...Well, someone you wouldn't expect to see.

Yeah, that's right. at the end of the trailer, Snake see's Yoshi through his binoculars. This may mean we'll get to see some Nintendo Easter eggs in the game. Or perhaps you'll just get to ride around on a Yoshi. Who knows?

That's about all i can think of that i need to report for now, look forward to E3 Updates during E3 itself from both TheDokta and myself, From what i saw, E3 this year will be very exciting!
