Another year, another Climax Heroes! This is a followup to my previous post which can be found here. I will be covering all of the things we know about Climax Heroes Fourze, along with rumors and what I'd like to see in this game.
So far, we know there will be Showa Riders in this game. Confirmed so far are Ichigo, Nigo, V3, Amazon, Black, Black RX along with Shadow Moon. These are some excellent additions to the game. Also, as far as we know all of the characters from the past games will be in this game, and there will be around 50 playable riders and possibily 100+ forms.

Ocarina of Time 3D Review
And here we are! Back again with my promised review The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D.
Without further adieu lets get started!
Without further adieu lets get started!
Graphics: SO the main difference between the N64 and the 3DS version of the games is the graphics overhaul. The 3DS being much more powerful hardware (obviously) can handle up to PS2\ Gamecube graphics. Grezzo the co producer of this remake has decided to scale them up just enough for it to still feel like OoT whilst looking beautiful. Textures, Lighting and even certain models have been redone and rendered in 3D. To get a sense of the games depth you really have to play; the 3D offers some assistance in determining distance in some tricky platforming. What more is there to say, The picture below says it all...
So beautiful!
So beautiful!
Controls: This was going to be one of my most worried about things before OoT3D came out.
I was wondering how they could have emulated the N64 C-Buttons. Then I saw some screen shots of them using the touchscreen for the use of items and the map. I thought that was a great idea. And it was. The Iron Boots and Hover Boots have now been made items for quick and easy access. The L and R buttons act as the Z and R buttons respectively. The controls are easy to get used to and not uncomfortable in anyway.
Audio: Here is where I thought they were well..lazy. This remake still uses the original MIDI music from the original. Sure the music for the time was great but nowadays they had the chance to orchestrate or at least fiddle with the MIDI to make it sound less electronic. Remember its not everyday a company gets to remake a classic. That being said there IS one orchestrated track in the game but I'll let all of you out there who havent played it yet go out and do so.
A legendary game deserving of this 3D remake. One final note, the 3D in my opinion adds great depth and a feel of being in the game. GO OUT THERE RIGHT NOW; Purchase a 3DS and this game you will not be disappointed. Lastly I must apologize for this review taking FOREVER but i was really busy during the last few weeks of school and had to put this off. I hope you can forgive MEEEEEE! Next review WILL be out this Friday. I promise.

Birth of the 10th! Kamen Riders All Together!! - Review
Kamen Rider Week carries on, with a review of the 1984 TV Special, "Birth of the 10th! Kamen Riders All Together!!"!
This TV Special Ran for 40 minutes, however there was also a 60 minute version - the one i watched. The 60 Minute version starts out with a good 20 minutes or so of Kamen Rider history, which after that, we learn about ZX origins. Ryo Murasame and his younger sister were investigating a UFO crash over the Amazon (AAAMAAAAAAZON!) only to be taken by the very same UFO. Ryo's sister was killed and he was turned into a Cyborg, Ryo eventually regains his memories however and leaves behind the Badan empire, who wish to rule the world.

Kamen Rider Retrospective #1 - Form Changing
Yo everyone, Joeker here. I'd like to give you a welcome to a new series we'll be doing on the blog, called: Kamen Rider Retrospective. In this series, we'll be taking a look back on certain themes or aspects of Kamen Rider, seeing where they originated from and how they've evolved, etc. And this will be the first in the series we'll be taking a look at, something that is commonly seen in Kamen Rider today: Form Changing.
Despite what a lot of fans believe (Mostly Black/RX fanboys), the first form changing Rider was in fact Kamen Rider Stronger. After Stronger had something called an "Electro Dynamo" placed in his body, he had the power to "Charge Up", which not only gave him more strength, but for the first time in Rider history, also gave him a new look.

Kamen Rider - Climax Heroes OOO review
Kamen Rider Week continues, this time with a review for last year's Kamen Rider game, Climax Heroes OOO!
It had been a few years since we'd gotten any Kamen Rider games, Kamen Rider Kabuto being the last. But, 4 years later we we're gifted with Kamen Rider Climax Heroes, for the PS2. This game had the lead riders for each Heisei series, along with other riders, playable, in a Rider Vs. Rider fighting game. A year later we got Climax Heroes W, a port to the Wii that included the 11th Heisei rider, W. But, in 2010 we we're given one of the best Kamen Rider games to date. Climax Heroes OOO.
Some nice boxart too. |

Kamen Rider ZO - Movie Review
To commence our "Kamen Rider Week" we'll be starting with a review of the movie "Kamen Rider ZO"! So, lets get started, shall we?
ZO, is not a BAD movie. However, i have a hard time saying it's anything more then just...mediocre. I guess it was pretty decent for a Kamen Rider movie, but that's all i can really say. It just wasn't what i had gone in expecting it to be. I'd heard from a lot of people ZO was a good Kamen Rider movie, and it wasn't bad at all. But...Just not that good.

JoekerStraightFlush Announcement - Kamen Rider Week!
Hey guys, Joeker here. We originally had a few plans for this blog, and some of the things we hoped to do in the future with it. But at the moment, all of that great stuff down the line is being put on hold, as this week for JoekerStraightFlush, it will be Kamen Rider Week!
"Kamen Rider Week?", you ask? That's right. This week we will be doing multiple Kamen Rider related things, with an attempt to do at least 1 each day, if not more. What kinda things? We'll be bringing reviews of Kamen Rider Series or Movies, Games, Gameplay videos, etc. This will last for a whole week, that's exactly 7 days folk, 7 days of Kamen Rider-ie goodness!
I'll also be adding a note on the blog's facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/JoekerStraightFlush
about some things that i'd like to improve on or add to the blog, so in the meantime, stay tuned and stay excited!
